Privacy policy

Adibera is a writing platform built on one simple principle: your writing is yours, and so is your data. This page explains what adibera.com collects now, before launch, and how the app will treat your data when it launches.

What this website collects

We collect data in one case only: when you join the waitlist. We then keep:

• your email address
• how you will use Adibera, if you chose it (writer, researcher, content creator)
• the page language
• the date you signed up

We use this for one purpose: telling you about Adibera’s launch and the opening of the beta. We do not sell, rent or share it with anyone for marketing.

The list is kept in our own storage on Cloudflare, without your IP address or details about your device.

Protection against spam

To stop repeated automated sign-ups, we keep for one hour only a counter linked to a one-way hash of your IP address that cannot be turned back into the address; it is then deleted automatically.

What we do not collect

• no analytics or tracking tools
• no cookies
• no advertising
• no fonts or scripts from third parties

The site keeps only your language and appearance choice (light or dark) in your own browser; it is not sent anywhere.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run the site and protect it from attacks, under its own privacy policy.

The app at launch

Adibera is designed to be local-first, and will follow these principles:

• your texts, drafts and style profiles are kept on your device, not on our servers
• writing needs no account
• when you use the AI assistant, only the text you select is sent to the AI provider you choose, with your own key, and you see it before it is sent
• sync with your own cloud (Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox) is optional and encrypted on your device before upload
• no operational data contains your writing

What you send to an AI provider is governed by that provider’s policy, not ours — so we do not promise absolute privacy for what is sent there. A detailed policy for the app will be published before launch.

Your rights

At any time you can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it removed from the waitlist by writing to info@adibera.com. Every email we send also includes a way to leave the list.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will change the “last updated” date above. If a change is significant and concerns your data, we will tell you by email.
